Four Hi-Tech Car Features: A Journey into the Future
Cars are making huge leaps forward in technological progress. As each car is designed and manufactured, the designers and automakers are adding hi-tech features in an effort to keep their cars head and shoulders above the rest. Here are just some of the features that are making their way into cars that are helping to improve the driving experience.
1) Computer Eyes
Some cars are now being produced with sensors that check for the lane markings and also for other vehicles. Depending on the way these sensors are set, they can cause the car to brake, or simply flash or beep to alert the driver of the obstruction. These sensors are mounted on the windshield and are carefully placed so as not to be obstructed by snow.
Many cars are being produced that offer inbuilt Wi-Fi connectivity. Some cars can even support up to ten devices at one time, providing passengers with on-the-go access. This means that some of those interminable long drives can be broken up with bouts of web surfing, playing any one of many casino games online and many more online activities.
3) Driving Goggles
In development is a series of Augmented Vision goggles that will have an augmented reality display for the driver. This will allow the driver to see how to park with arrows appearing to direct the car on which way to turn. Currently, this tech is still in the works and has yet to be used in a real instance.
4) Touchscreen Dash
This device is similar to an iPad and offers a 10-inch screen that can be zoomed in on, swiped and more. There are many features and functions that will be coming alongside this, such as voice control and shortcuts provided for the functions that are used most often.
